It provides funding directly to individuals and providers and will provide about 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have permanent or significant disability with funding for supports and services.

  • At BelleJoy, we believe that when it comes to your home, empowerment is key and that everyone should have choices. Supported Independent Living at BelleJoy is highly personal, tailored to each person, reflecting their unique needs. This service includes shared living arrangements with 1-3 participants, providing assistance with daily life tasks in a group or shared living environment. It encompasses 24-hour care, available seven days a week, across three levels of support at benchmark prices. It's important to note that the cost of support does not cover rent, board, or lodging, nor does it include everyday living expenses such as food and activities. Additionally, personal care supports when the person is hospitalised, or items covered in other sections of the NDIS price guide, like assistive technology or transport costs, are not included.

  • There are three levels of support coordination that can be included in your plan:

    Support Connection: This support is to build your ability to connect with informal, community and funded supports enabling you to get the most out of your plan and achieve your goals.

    Support Coordination: This support will assist you to build the skills you need to understand, implement and use your plan. A support coordinator will work with you to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in your community.

    Specialist Support Coordination: This is a higher level of support coordination. It is for people whose situations are more complex and who need specialist support. A specialist Support Coordinator will assist you to manage challenges in your support environment and ensuring consistent delivery of service.

    Depending on your individual goals, plan objectives and aspirations you may receive funding for these supports in your plan.

  • The 'Short Term Accommodation' package under NDIS encompasses all costs within a 24-hour period, covering assistance with daily personal activities, accommodation, food, and activities agreed upon. This type of support, also referred to as NDIS respite care, is ideally suited for brief stays, typically up to 14 days. For those requiring extended support, alternative options such as Supported Independent Living may be more suitable.
